During my tenure, we have increased membership participation, established regular communications and updates to members, secured stronger visibility for Native voices within the DNC, and created more transparent procedures that invite accountability and trust. This includes creating social media profiles that the leadership can post to and respond from in real time for important issues without being bogged down in the sometimes lengthy DNC process. We have social media presence on X and Facebook where a large portion of our engagement and follow up comes from.

I've also created and grown a listserv for the caucus that is near 700 subscribers. I regularly post issues of importance on TikTok to my personal account in order to engage younger Native American audiences that might not always be engaged in policy and political work. 

These wins were not achieved overnight — they are the product of consistent work and collaboration from all who have committed themselves consistently to this Caucus.

At a time when Native communities and Democrats everywhere are facing serious challenges, our focus must remain on the work ahead — defending sovereignty, protecting our heritage, supporting our communities, and helping elect Democrats nationwide. Our energy is best spent uniting around those goals, not dividing ourselves internally.

I will continue to let my record and our shared accomplishments speak for themselves. I am proud of what we have achieved, and I look forward to earning your vote and your support in Minneapolis.
